One whole year later.....

I am a big boy now, I can do lots of things. I have moved into our house on Solitude Point. I call it "Henry's hus" since I can speak Swedish as well as English. My mormor speaks only Swedish to me and that helps.
I am going to school when Mommy is working. It is a daycare but I call it school. I like it there and when I am going to daddy's house, he picks me up and when I am going home, mommy picks me up. Daddy does not live with us anymore. He wanted to live in a house all by himself.
I still have Duso and Peanut, they are my dogs and we do lots of thing together. My cat Gullan also live with us. I love her so very much, she is so soft to touch. We also have a lot of animals, that come to visit us from the forest. Mostly deer and now and then a fox. The deer comes very often when I am having breakfast and I like to look at them.
I have also been part of a wedding. I was a ring-bearer in the church where my favorite auntie Josephine got married and I wore a tuxedo. I liked my tux, morfar and Chad wore also tuxedos. The bubbles that mommy and mormor were blowing on Chad and Josephine, were fun to chase.
I have also learned to like the ocean, it is not at all scary, it makes noise and that is all. I like to run in the waves and dig in the sand. Mormor, morfar, mommy and me went to the ocean and that was fun.

What do you know?

My parents, who like to travel, took me in June to Mamas home country Sweden. It was a very long flight so I could take a couple of good naps. It was raining and cold at first, but I decided to give it a try.
I met with my cousins Noel and Nike and I liked them a lot. One thing that was very good with my visits to different relatives of Mama was that they had real bikes with pedals and wheels for me to borrow. I met with my great uncle and his family and I was so happy to meet with Christopher, he is more my age, and we played together. I enjoyed myself walking around and checking out different things that seemed interesting. At the end I met with Mamas godfather and he has a beard like my morfar. I picked up a few new words and the one I like the most is -titta, it means -lock at that. I have only one thing to tell all the friendly people in Sweden, I will be back.

My parents are doing something strange. They keep taking me out to their land and showing me a big hole in the ground with some rocks around and they talk about their new house. I don't know about that, I like the house I have now. I have even mastered to walk in the stairs like a normal person; I only have to hold on with one hand. No more crawling and climbing stairs for me.
I almost forgot to mention, when we had been home only a few days, papa came home with a bike. My very own, a fancy blue one with a trunk where I can put my stuff, when I go for a ride. Our cat Gullan and I are testing it in front of the house, it is too bumpy in the backyard and the dogs are to rowdy and eager to jump on me so I prefer to bike with her in the front.
This month will be a busy month for me, first we have the 4th of July and I have heard that it is a very special holiday, and then my grandpa and grandma are coming to visit me. I hope they bring my donkey, but maybe it is hard to get it on the plane.

More Memorable Memories from May 2009

Hello, I ended up going to Texas at the end of last month so I have to let you know a little bit about my activities there. First I learned to play the piano, a piece of cake after my Pappa lifted me up on the piano stool. I practiced my walking at mormor's house and I also met with my auntie Josephine and her Chad. I like them because they like me a lot. Then I went to Weatherford to my grandpa's place. That was really fun. I got to swim in the pool with Mommy and my other auntie Veronica and I took long walks with my parents and checked out the neigborhood. My grandpa and Hanna had bought me a donkey that they named Oscar, but i could not take him home with me since our backyard is so little. But let me tell you about my plans. My pappa and mamma are building us a new house in the woods and there will be lots of place for my donkey, maybe my grandpa can take him with him when he comes to visit me.
I went home all exhaused after all my adventures and experiences and was planning to take it easy the rest of the month. Would you believe who showed up at the frontdoor. My morfar, Jerry came to spend 5 days with me and my parents of course. We had a lot of fun, I like to have a morfar as a babysitter, he understands me and I understand him and that is what life is all about.

MMMMMM my favourite letter

M stands for the month of May, it stands for Me, Mamma, Mormor and for food, "Mat" in Swedish, More and Merry. My life is really good right now. My mormor was here and that was fun since she lets me do things that my mommy does not. She took me to the playground and she let me swing as long as I wanted and then some more. She also made me oatmeal and that was really good. I don't like to eat my food from a cup with handles on it. My mommy keeps on pushing it on me and even if I trow it away each time. I would like to see her eat her food from a cup like that. I have had a few extra fun days with my buddy Kohen. He is a boy like me and we are playing together when I spend time at their house while my mommy goes to the hospital. The other day he took a big bite at my arm and that hurt a little. My daytime mommy, Candice, got upset at him and I don't really understand why. Anyway the next day I got my chance I pushed him over so he cried and that was a sweet payback for the biting. I have been trying to convince my mommy that I can handle the stairs by my selt, but she is a mom, so she is putting up the darn gate at the bottowm of the stairs. But guess what happend the other day, I managed to sneak by her and quietly climb up to play with my shells in my room without her noticing me and that felt really good. I heard my parents talking about going home to Texas at the end of the month and I look forward to visit with my grandparents in The Colony and in Weatherford.

March is my month

Well, my life as a toddle has begun. I celebrated my first birthday last week. My friends and lots of grown-ups came to my house and they had presents with them. I got lots of things, many new toys and one really good thing. Elaine our neighbor had made a picture of me that my mommy liked a lot and I also think that it came out pretty good. Birthdays are wonderful, as a matter of fact I had birthdays from Saturday all the way until Thursday the 26th and that day is MY DAY. Best of all was that my mommy had made me a cake of my own with lots of whipped cream on top. What I could not really figure out was why she put a burning thing in the middle. But parents do lots of strange things I guess this was just one of them. It was a lot of singing on my birthday and I like that a lot. When grown ups sing their faces light up and they look happy. But enough said about birthdays. I am a toddler now and I can do things. I can climb down the stairway all by myself but my parents don't let me.I guess I have to outsmart them one day because I want to do my own things. Stairs are good, they can take you from down to up and then down again. I am still working on balancing my body on my legs and feet so I can take up walking as well, but I am not quite ready as of yet.
Something very scary happened at my day mommy's house the other day. She was holding Kohen, that has problems with one of his teeth and he was a little extra cranky that day, and somehow the two of them managed to pull a pan of boiling hot water from the stove. My day mommy Candy fell in the hot water and burned herself and Kohen landed luckily on top of her so he did not get burnt. Boy was I glad that I was not in the middle of it all.
I am working om my speech and I am practicing in the mornings when I wake up with a clear brain. It is hard to make words, I know how to sayt them but my tongue and my lips are not quite in sync yet. I guess that's all for now. Oh by the way be careful with clam chowder soup in a restaurant you might get food poisoning like I got, trust tme that was not at all fun.

I am a big guy now

This month was a great month. First of all I have learned to climb the stairs and I am working on going down, but that is much harder. This month, I have done a lot of new things. My mormor came to visit me and she is fun to have around because she helps me do hard things like walking. I have also got more teeth, I now have six of them and they come in handy since my mom and dad finally are giving me real food that is fun to chew.I like fish the most, besides from fruit and veggies of course.I have to tell you guys a secret. I have been testing my mom and day to see if they really mean business when they don't let me have interesting items like one of their cellphones, and they do, in spite of me showing them my anger and disappointment. Most of all I like to be left alone all night so I can have my time to sleep and time to contemplate about my life. My mom and dad used to come in and bother me but now they finally are letting me be. When I grow up I am going to do something about these colds that keep on bothering me. One thinks that having doctors as parents would be helpful but let me tell you it isn't. They don't do a singel thing to remove the cold instead they keep on trying to poke their fingers in and around my nose with napkins instead of letting me sneeze out the gooey stuff. But I have to say that I do love them very, very much. I like to take bath with them and the other day I finally got a chance to brush my own hair and get it the way I want it. Even my mom, that otherwise is so picky about the way I look, had to admit that I did a god job.
